Welcome to Seth Allen Photo!
Welcome to my website, and thanks for dropping by! I'll be here sharing my photos, opinions, things about my life and my photography. I really hope you'll come back for more. I'm always in the mood for new photography ideas and tips, I'm always open to hearing them, I keep a busy life, I'm always out with my friends, and my cameras, I go to the gym alot, and I pursue an active interest in Aviation! I'm a sophmore in High School in Athol, MA. Athol may not be pretty, or big, or rich, but it's home. Thanks to my Mom for getting me into Weebly. I primairally shoot with Nikon, right now I have a D200 and a D70, both of which I love. I shoot film as often as I can. I have a Nikon FA, which belonged to my grandfather, who sparked my passion for photography and whom this websited is didcated to. With that said, have a look around, make some comments, send me an e-mail or friend me on facebook. I'm a sucker for great deals on photo gear.
Page Dedicated in Memory of Donald F. Allen
This website is dedicated to my Grandfather, Don Allen(August 21 1934-November 28 2012). Don was born in Burlington, Vermont in 1934. He moved to Athol in 1935 where he lived for the remainder of his life. In 1957, he married Marjorie Ann Struthers of Jaffery, New Hampshire, and they were for 55 years, producing a son Scott(my father). He worked for the L.S. Starrett Company from 1956-1996, and was a parts inspector for Percision Slide Calipers. In 1983, he purchased a Nikon FA, which he shot with for the remainder of his life. He owned several cameras, Including a Pentax K1000, Nikon F5, Canon AE-1, and a Bronica ETR-S Medium Format SLR. During the 1980s and 1990s he shot for the Athol Daily News, Worcester Telegram and Boston Globe. Together with his wife, he spent many of his weekends in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire and Kittery, Maine. In 1981, the Allen's clocked 33 weekends away from Athol. Thanks Grandpa!
